Summary

I started out as a volunteer firefighter for the Rhea County Fire Department in 2022. Since then, I have taken a 120 hour rookie school, got my firefighter 1 and firefighter 2 live burn, Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Operations, Firefighter 1, and Vehicle Extrication. Last yeah I moved up to a Captain position over one of the departments in Rhea County. I have also started working part time for the City of Dayton Fire and Rescue since December of 2023. I’m always looking for things to improve on when it comes to the fire service. I’m constantly looking for new training opportunities and trying to improve my department. I have proven the ability to enhance team performance and safety through effective training and risk management. Skilled in fire suppression and critical thinking, consistently reducing property damage during incidents while fostering teamwork and cooperation.
