By serving as Lead Inspector on several projects, I have been in charge of tracking and maintaining the budgets for each project. I also work with engineer technicians and contractors on my projects to ensure all tasks are being completed correctly and on time. I work with various sections within VDOT to coordinate projects such as plan errors, contract issues, safety concerns, environmental compliance and materials acceptance in order to deliver high quality projects on-time and on-budget for the citizens of Virginia.

Served as Lead Inspector while tracking the budget, working with contractor and landowners through various issues to maintain the project schedule.


Rural Rustic - 2019 

Assisted Edinburg Residency with their rural rustic program in 2019.  I oversaw four routes in three different counties, while tracking and maintaining budgets for each route, scheduling and working with contractors to order materials and supplies to keep projects on time.


Rte 698 Bridge Replacement - Mt. Jackson, VA

Contract Amount: 1.4 million

Served as Lead Inspector while maintaining the materials notebook, along with working with materials sections to ensure materials acceptance.  I also tracked project budget, coordinated with contractors, various sections with in VDOT, and Construction Manager to keep project on time and on budget.

Contract Amount: 1.8 million

Served as Lead Inspector, while working with other inspectors assigned to projects to complete various tasks on time, as well as working with contractor through plan errors, utility delays, and railroad crossing to keep project on time, all while tracking and maintaining project budget.

Rte 11 Bridge Replacement over the North Fork of the Shenandoah River - Mt. Jackson, VA

Contract Amount: 4.7 million

Assisted in the delivering the Pre-Construction Meeting with the project Construction Manager.  I am currently serving as the lead inspector assisting the construction manager with the writing and negotiations pertaining to change orders on the project and scheduling project meetings, such as pre-deck pour meeting.  As lead inspector, I also maintain the materials notebook, track project budget, coordinate with contractor and various sections within VDOT to mitigate plan errors and other  project difficulties to keep project on time and on budget.
