I would love to be able to provide guidance to new students on campus because I was once in their shoes as a new college student and that can be very challenging at times. I am able to work well in teams, groups and independently. I have often been told that I am an independent thinker and a good problem solver. I also have experience in leadership roles with youth in various ways and would just like to be able to show people that the University of Pikeville is a great place for them to get their college education. I look forward to the opportunity to be a part of their journey on their way toward their degree.
In high school, I received a special sash for graduation as a sign for participating in Project Lead the Way. Which is a program that focuses on sciences that are applicable in the today's world. Excelled in athletics and made all-conference for football at the University of Pikeville. When I umpired for the youth baseball teams, I was selected to umpire Sacramento All-Star games. Excelled in academics at the University of Pikeville and made the president's list multiple times.
