• Manage and direct cross docking activity of 30+ drivers at dark sort centers within a designated service
area.
• Coordinate repair of company equipment with company maintenance and/or third-party vendors to
minimize expense and downtime.
• Direct the movement of an average of 2500+ loads and 1700+ drivers within the 53 terminal service
footprints in accordance with company guidelines and applicable collective bargaining agreements (CBA’s)
• Provide operational support to field supervisors and line-haul drivers Actively engaged in line haul driver
on-boarding and retention initiatives.
• Manage any injuries, hazmat, and collision situations that happen daily.
• Train new dispatchers to the department.
• Disburse morning report of previous night’s numbers to company management.
