My skills include excellent conversational skills, sourcing ingredients, and working with many different cuisines with my specialty being in comfort cuisine. I’ve had the privilege of working side-by-side and being trained by some of the best chefs in Northwest Indiana, where I learned and thrived. I pride myself in my focus in abilities, especially when challenge with upcoming company, policies, and regulations and uphold company policies and regulations. My passion for food has only grown over the years after learning new skills and techniques that I love passing on to coworkers. I’m a quick learner and excel in leading and teaching others around me. My success in passing on my skills has been proven many times over by the success of my coworkers and colleagues in their current past positions. I’ve always dreamed of having my own kitchen, and that dream has only grown stronger since entering the healthcare field. I’ve seen myself blossom since entering this field and it is truly where I’ve shined. I have only grown my passions since starting in this facility and working with the residence. I love interacting with them and providing them with delicious healthy and visually appealing dishes. I am confident in my abilities to grow with this company, and to grow the food and beverage director position.
