- I passed all exams to become a licensed property and casualty agent. I also became a licensed life insurance salesman
- I presented the prestigious "Firemark" award to Richmond Fire Department for the courageous acts Engine 11 performed on December 17th, 2016 to save a baby from a fire. The firemark award gave Richmond VA a $10,000 grant opportunity.
- Working closely with firefighters and remaining in contact with firefighters from Hanover, I realized I wanted to go back to a firefighting position and left within a year of taking the IAFF sales rep role with liberty mutual.
