  • This has been my most dynamic role at RL Controls
  • Some of my duties in this role:
  • First role was installing Positive Train Control for the Massachusetts Bay Train Authority (MBTA) on a series of different trains including, Bombardier Controlk Cars, F-40 Locotmotives, the new Hyundai Rotem and Kawasaki Control Cars
  • Installing a speed repeater for the conductor to see in coach car vestibule, this work was done for the Virginia Railway Express
  • For my degree in Public Health I was contracted out to Hitachi to be an HSE Officer for there on going rail projects with the Daigle Electric Company
  • Installed Equipment for Amtrak for there California Coast Rail
  • This system was for there Onboard Information Systems
  • Supervised and delegated tasks to crew members, consistently emphasizing safety compliance and attention to quality
  • Conducted, led and actively participated in periodic safety meetings to ensure safety awareness
  • Works with the engineering department to design and manufactor key componets needed for projects
  • Lead crews and develope plans on how the work gets done on time and under budget for the project
  • Recorded invoicing to the projects
  • Created procedural documents for different projects on how installations will be done and with what materials
  • Working with engineering to submit RFIs for various projects
  • Scheduling work with customers and crew to have a fully communicated plan
  • Worked directly with PMs on scheudling, invoicing and budgeting towards installation work
  • Created testing procedures with the engineering department
  • This is most noticeable on the Northside RSSI Antenna Testing
