As a 6th step apprentice lineman on the joint-use agreement, currently working on a transfer crew, my responsibilities include the building of new strand and fiber, as well as the transfer of fiber and cable from the old poles to the new poles, as well as proper removal of old poles. Other tasks throughout the day to day include:

•Completing the transfer in a safe and timely manner

•Safe and smooth climbing of wooden poles

•Safe driving and operation of bucket trucks

•Safe driving and operation of digger Derrick trucks

•Safe operation of backyard machines

As a part-time position, specializing in the safe and smooth operation of all trucks from light duty rollbacks to heavy wreckers. As well as the safe operation of semi trucks hauling equipment and other various cargo.

Specialized in the repair and maintenance of a fleet of trucks which hauled gravel trains and low-boy’s as well as repair on some heavy equipment. As an afternoon/night supervisor position, and the only afternoon shift employee, my responsibilities were to ensure any and all issues pertaining to the fleet, were resolved for the drivers in the morning, as well as ensuring smooth operations through the evening and night hours.

Specialized in completing maintenance, repairs, and warranty work on all makes and models of handheld equipment, mowers, tractors, and light duty trucks.
