I am a young College Student looking for work and experience to put towards my future as I earn my degree in Civil Engineering. I am well experienced in equipment operating and GPS equipment and ready to put in the hours needed.
As a student in High School, I worked most of my hours during the summer traveling with R.C. Construction to multiple military airfields and bases, often where I would be completing 60‑hour work weeks all summer long. I was a field surveyor working directly with the on‑site PE (Professional Engineer) where I was tasked with surveying and operating GPS equipment needs such as total stations, pavers, motor graders, and bulldozers. I am familiarized with the work of under-drainage and the common knowledge behind it. I was a trusted employee and gained the respect of many in operating crews, engineering crews, and labor crews.
During my years of High School, when I was not working for the company I was employed with, my buddies and I started our own business of landscaping. We started with 3 employees and eventually built up two teams of four employees in each team where we then changed our name to "A+ Roof and Landscape" officially. I developed a great sense of time management skills, customer service skills, and money budgeting skills. Through this period I was able to see a business run both as a worker and a manager for both the finances and the manpower ultimately giving me a better sense of efficiency and how to get work done fast and correctly.
