Dear Hiring Manager,

I recently graduated from high school and obtained my 7020 – Non-Resident Designated Home State All-Lines Adjuster License through AdjusterPro. I am eager to begin my career in the adjusting field and am actively seeking opportunities to gain experience and contribute to a respected organization.

I have been exposed to the adjusting industry for most of my life. My father worked as an adjuster for over 20 years with Colonial Claims, and my mother also worked in claims, including during Hurricane Katrina. Growing up around this profession has given me a strong interest in the field and a clear understanding of the work ethic and dedication required to succeed.

Recently, I spent three weeks in San Antonio, Texas, where I became Xactimate certified and completed certifications for All CAT and USAA. These experiences have strengthened my technical skills and prepared me to begin working in the field.

In addition, I have hands-on experience in construction, working for Doug Branham, the former owner of Colonial Claims. This experience has given me a solid understanding of how homes are built, including materials and structure, which I believe is valuable knowledge for an adjuster.

I am highly motivated, hardworking, and confident in my ability to communicate effectively with clients. I take pride in being approachable and supportive, especially when helping individuals through difficult situations such as property losses.

I am very interested in pursuing a position as a pilot adjuster and growing within your company. I have heard excellent feedback about your organization and would welcome the opportunity to contribute and develop my career with your team.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to the opportunity to speak with you.

Sincerely,

Jacob Milam
