Upon graduating high school, I attended several different vocational trainings, and became certified in all the right places in order to be effective in the construction trade. I obtained my Class A CDL while also gaining my basic CPR, Flaggers, Forklift and Hazardous materials certifications.
However, at the time I had a different line of work in mind. I wanted to ride racehorses and pursued a career as a professional jockey through which I traveled around the country and gained a multitude of skills working with a wide variety of people. Although, the trainings that I took are no longer in the forefront of my mind, and many of the certifications are expired, I still practice many of the skills I obtained then in my trade now.
