Boost Assisted Glide Vehicle

- Modeled, designed, prototyped, and tested a boost assisted glider that utilized pressurized water to generate thrust
- For our models, we created a MATLAB file that would give us our glide range, apogee, glide velocity at L/D max and sink velocity of the glider
- This model utilized multiple functions of ours that determined the weight, induced drag, parasite drag, wing geometry, and thrust analysis
- For the thrust analysis we experimentally captured our data in a static test stand and utilized data analysis to clean and make the data usable
- Currently our team is working on prototyping two designs that we are going to test in the next couple of weeks
