• Learned and maintained proficiency in first responder skills such as First Aid and CPR to offer individuals in distress optimal support.
• Ensured swimmer safety by vigilantly monitoring pool area and enforcing rules.
• Monitored safety of guests in and around swimming pool.
• Provided friendly customer service to guests and addressed concerns.
• Attentively monitored swimmers to identify distress.

• Assisted swimmers in distress using appropriate rescue techniques based on individual needs and circumstances.

Raised a bit of money through a bake sale to help support an important cultural heritage site through the Chinese National Honors Society. We also went to the cite in person, learned about its significance, and did a bit of manual labor digging out part of the garden.

Shadowed during routine medical appointments and examinations for a two week stretch during July 2023. Mostly shadowed in pain & rehab but also went into radiology and pediatrics.

Attended a service trip to the Dominican Republic through my school. Mix of service and faith practice. We did manual labor and lived in adverse conditions for a week while we built a retaining wall around a garbage dump. Also attended local cultural events and engaged with the local people and each other.

Volunteered at school sponsored "learn to row" camp as a varsity rower and leader for three summers. Helped incoming freshmen and other students trying to learn how to row crew for about 6 hours a day for a week each summer.

Attended HOBY Leadership Seminar as one of two students selected from my school. Engaged in small group activities that tested decision making and teamwork. Learned skills that have been applicable to life since.
