The requirements to become a Combat marksmen Coach was to have a Expert qualification on the rifle range and Sharpshooter or Expert qualification on the pistol range. During the course we learned how to identify what was causing a Marine when using his firearm on the range to miss or not be as accurate as possible. We learned this for both right and left handed shooters to help improve that Marines Marksmanship.
