As a Therapeutic Service Worker, I work in the Rehab department combing fun, creativity, and therapy in a safe environment to enrich the lives of the clients. The daily responsibilities of this position involve planning and leading groups, medical charting after the groups. Many of the groups we plan involving teaching the clients skills such as coping skills. In addition, I respond to crisis situations and implement our crisis training protocol. Finally, in this position, I have also helped facilitate hospital wide events.

As Program Director, I was responsible for scheduling and conducting appointments for prospect clients. I would make first contact with clients and take them through the basic movements of martial arts in two private lessons. I then would would fill out a contract with them and get them fully enrolled into class.

I also assisted on the mat with student training as well as maintaining the facility.

I researched website design. The research included product development, customer services, and online selling requirements.

During my employment, I apprenticed in gemological science, jewelry appraising and jewelry and watch repair services.

I assisted in the computerization of business practices, helping to transform the business from manual data collection to electronic memory.

I helped clients complete their activities of daily living.

I charted client's progress and participated in the shift report at the end of each shift.

I took vitals and assisted in conducting rounds every 15 minutes.

I was responsible for maintaining safety on the unit and responding to assistance required codes.

I was responsible for facilitating meetings between clients and their families.

I am was certified in CPR and basic first aid.
