I am 1 of 3 founders of this Church plant, and we are currently in our 6th year. It has been an incredible journey of starting something from nothing. Prior, I had gave myself to a craft, career, calling and leadership for about 10 years. The last 6 years I had the opportunity of building and putting legs to that work and development.
As a founder, my title is "Director of Worship & Culture," however, over the past 6 years I have worn many hats.
As as a founder (alongside my fellow Co-Founders):
- Dream up/strategize a Vision, Mission, and core values we want to see in the church and our community and implement those.
- Plans gatherings and events.
- Help start and lead multiple teams. - Find what certain leaders are passionate about and help grow them into even bigger leaders
- Faithfully serve the church in my craft with excellence and passion
- Regularly on the teaching team
- Creating and teaching curriculums
As Director of Worship:
- This dept. started as just myself. We now have a full and thriving team that feels like a Family with multiple leaders.
- Regular scheduling, multiple avenues of communication, creating/holding retreats and events.
- Helping lead songwriting co Horts and building leaders to lead those
- Steward departments budget
As Director of Culture:
- This title was later added and presented to me.... - Over the years, the other Co founders saw the department I built and the culture that was created, and they wanted that culture reproduced in every other team
- I now, am over every team of the church (about 10 of them) This looks like: monthly mtg with each leader or their team and helping building their culture. This looks like helping leaders find "fresh vision" for themselves and their team. Then, helping them implement that vision to see them succeed in greater ways.
- Created leadership questionnaire for them to fill out that helps coach them through each coming quarter. - I have seen major growth and success come to each team
