• Under the guidance of Dr. John J. Ramirez-Avila, continued a study monitoring the health of Catalpa Creek in Oktibehha County, Mississippi with the following responsibilities:
• Field work collecting grab samples from a number of stream sites
• Recorded water quality measurements in the field such as velocity, turbidity, DO, pH, temperature, etcetera
• Laboratory management including filter cleaning and drying, as well as, organization and cleaning of lab equipment
• Completed laboratory water quality test, testing for the levels of Total Dissolved Solids, Total Suspended Solids, Dissolved Phosphorous and Dissolved Nitrogen
• Compiling data and reporting the findings in a research paper that was sent to the EWRI Congress where I was invited to present this research to their national committee.

• Monitored multiple wastewater ponds and completed daily lab sampling and testing of the wastewater treatment system
• Performed Data upkeep on multiple excel spreadsheets
• Organized and maintained all pertinent copies for the Environmental Department
• Assisted in the completion of state and federal compliance reports.
