• Perform routine maintenance and repair on a wide variety of vehicles and equipment (light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles, heavy equipment, OHV, trailers)
• Drive the shop truck to various job sites to perform repairs and road test equipment after the repair or maintenance has been completed.
• Maintain 3 snow plows and respond to service calls during the winter snow season
• Attend periodic industry training conducted by ADOT
• Maintain the on-site fuel station (ADOT class C certified)
• Assist in office duties when required (write service, supervise)

• Provide excellent customer service and make sure our customer’s needs are met
• Ensure that state owned vehicles/equipment are serviced/repaired in accordance with Federal, State, ADOT, Interagency Service Agreements and EQS Policy/Procedures
• Oversee and maintain the fleet Preventative Maintenance (PM) compliance schedule
• Ensure vehicles are in compliance with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality Vehicle Emission standards and testing
• Create PM/repair work orders using the AssetWorks fleet service management system
• Assure the completion of manufacturer safety recalls and repair bulletins
• Manage the shop work schedule, triage the work, utilize commercial vendors when necessary
• Monitor commercial estimates, make sure vendor is abiding by the state contract, and ensure that the vendors are paid accordingly
• Provide routine customer updates and status of job and/or projected completion; research customer inquiries and discrepancies; respond to the customer’s questions
• Assist with ordering parts, shop tools and supplies
• Assist with keeping track of stocked parts inventory
• Maintain the on-site fuel station (ADOT class C certified)

• Drive a non-CDL paper shredding truck
• Collecting paper from our clients and shred it on site
• Perform daily inspections on shred trucks, perform minor repairs and required maintenance
• Wash, clean, and fuel up trucks when necessary
• Using GPS in order to locate each stop on the route
• Perform my daily duties within a timely manner while following a set schedule and route
• Work shred events and purge jobs
• Make deliveries of documents to and from our storage facility
• Maintain excellent customer service.

• Worked on all makes and models, Japanese, European, and domestic
• Complete orders within timeframe to adhere to daily appointment schedule
• When applicable, conduct and report to manager the shop material inventory to ensure timely ordering and maintaining adequate supply of stock
• Receive and organize stocked parts
• Use of ALLDATA as a resource for referencing repair procedures and vehicle specifications
• Weekly shop cleaning of floors and machinery
• Assist other technicians with vehicle repairs.

• Maintain two 6100 class, Best in the Desert series race trucks.
• Pre-race truck maintenance, including engine maintenance, transmission maintenance, suspension tuning, tire installs, make sure electrical components and radio equipment are operating correctly.
• Maintain and repair race support vehicles.
• Post-race truck repairs and maintenance.
• Work in team environment prior, during, and after race events under the direction of the head mechanic
• During race events and pit stops, performed rotated positions of car-jack, tire, fire-extinguisher handler, and fueling responsibilities.
