My current role as a Project Engineer is primarily post sales validation. My responsibilities include:

• Detailed design review to ensure quality, functionality and completeness.
• Thorough review of SOWs and BOMs for design accuracy.
• Act as primary technical resource for for Project Managers until project is handed off to commissioning team.
• Modify and create detailed drawing packages for General Contractors and our own team including: infrastructure requirements, and signal flow diagrams.
• Create sketches and supporting documentation to hand off to CAD when necessary.
• Create SOWs, BOMs and even re-designs for Change Orders for projects.
• Constantly communicate with all teams within company to ensure deadlines are met and milestones are hit.
• Presented well-researched proposals to clients, securing new business opportunities for this company.
• Assisted in developing cost-effective solutions to engineering problems.

This job is fast paced, and requires a high level of organization, attention to detail and effective communication. I am assigned to 10-20 projects at any given time. Including the experience gained here with past experience i can confidently say that I am an asset to any team I join.

• Research and test new AV equipment to keep up with evolving industry
• Create robust and functional designs for new projects
• Supported field engineers and installers with technical knowledge and instruction when needed.
• Assisted General Contractors and Superintendents and other professionals with construction requirements and RFI’s to ensure successful installation and commissioning
• Created, loaded, and managed all DSP files and equipment updates for programmers
• Provide upper Tier support for new and existing systems.

• Well versed in all aspects of commissioning process: Including project review, prefab testing, field technician support, system commissioning, project turnover and project completion documentation
• Researched and recommended new technologies for functionality and client needs
• Trained Lead Technicians and Field Engineers
• Write, test and EQ system DSP files to ensure functionality
• Provide remote and on-site service when needed.
• Experienced with QSC, Biamp, London Blu, Bose, and Shure Products

• Led and trained on-site teams to work efficiently and effectively to hit deadlines
• Worked closely with Designers, Project Managers and other construction trades to ensure Scope completion and exceed customer expectations.
