Visitor Services:
I was responsible for monthly scheduling, hiring/firing, providing strong and positive leadership, maintain function and efficiency, training new staff, assisting with front desk admission to ensure guests and staff have a great experience in the museum. Disturbance handler for guest and staff. Overseeing daily operations.
Events:
Scheduling weddings, setting up rentals for the Historical Maryhill Loops Road, preparing and sending out contracts, collecting and fee applicable, and maintaining and managing the road with outside vendors/leasers.
Cafe:
Scheduling staff, overseeing all aspects of a busy cafe, shopping and suppling food and beverages weekly, cash handling, customer service, menu planning, working out a food budget for the season.
Museum Store:
Making a yearly budget, planning, selecting/purchasing quantities of goods/merchandising, marketing, and maintaining online store.
Customer service, money handling. Experience with Quickbooks, merchandising, and buying/selling. Along with setup online sales.
Skiing, Knitting, spending time with friends and family, walking with my dog, and fishing with my husband and grandsons.
