  • Intensive/critical care which includes tube feeding, administering IVs and subcutaneous fluids
  • Pulling blood samples to spin and then read to understand their PCV and use that to look further into the birds issues to help problem solve
  • Performing routine exams and caring for certain injuries as needed
  • When a problem is found wether it is a injury or sickness I would have to create a solution that would work best for that specific issue
  • Husbandry tasks including scrubbing enclosures and pools, water changes and siphoning, laundry, dishes, thawing fish and anything else thats needed for the care of the birds
  • Releasing birds back out into the wild when ready.

Aquarium of the Pacific- Exhibit Interpreter 

  • Provided accurate information about the animals and their ecosystems to guests while also assuring the safety of both the animals and the guest during their interactions.


Marine Mammal Care Center- Pinniped Patrol 

  • Helped in the 2023 Domoic Acid event that happened along the coast in california by taking on shifts to walk up and down the beach to report any beached seals or sea lions. Another task was to inform the public on the situation and teach them on what they can do to help.
