Jacqueline Hagen has been playing violin for eleven years and has played with the First Coast Suzuki players since she started. Hagen is currently working on various repertoire including the Wieniawski violin concerto no.2 in D minor and Kreutzer etudes. Since starting her time at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts High School in 2021 she has gained experience in many ways. In 2021 Hagen started teaching lessons. Her student has become proficient with scales and solo repertoire since they started. In the summer of 2022 and 2023 she had the opportunity to attend FSU summer music camp. In 2024 Hagen was accepted into the New England Conservatory Summer Orchestra Institute and Point Counterpoint chamber music institute. While she was there, she became proficient in preforming in small chamber groups and in large full orchestras. Through school, Hagen has become focused on orchestra, full symphony, string chamber music, music theory, and string pedagogy. She has developed a strength in string chamber music and string pedagogy. Hagen has found a love for small group preforming ensembles and teaching others and would like to pursue one of the two in the near future.
