I currently work as the Resource Sped teacher for Marfa ISD for grades 7-12. I have a total of 18 students but have two in resource and the rest come in for content mastery as we are short staffed at this school district. I assist students based off of their IEP's in accommodating them with tests and daily work. Mostly they need accommodations such as small group and reading aloud questions/test questions. I am also responsible for their ARD meetings, gathering paperwork from Gen Ed teachers, contacting parents, writing goals, and progress reports.
