As the Office Assistant/Payroll, I am responsible for all office duties, which include answering phones, emails, and customer service. I greet truck drivers, gather their pickup or transfer information, and submit it into our program, Famous, to check them in. I am responsible for pulling all employee time cards and submitting their worked hours to our accounting office for payroll, and I am responsible for handing out all paychecks. Another responsibility that I have is to monitor and award all employees with their PTO and Sick Time hours. I maintain running spreadsheets for the General Manager, as well as the accounting office. Maintaining the attendance of all employees and notifying the General Manager of employees who did not call in for the day. I assist the Shipping Manager with BOLs, loading trucks, and scanning load sheets into our Famous software. I assist with Food Safety and maintain a safe and healthy working environment. I assist the Assistant Manager with providing pack-outs to all growers for the company. Assist with maintaining a complete and accurate list of employees to the Assistant manager, hiring and terminating employees, and handling confidential information of each employee.
I am in charge of all food safety for a potato farm in Hooper, CO. I manage an organic Global GAP book to maintain compliance with the state and provide organically grown potatoes to large supply chains. I manage a large amount of data for all conventional potatoes through Monday and stay in compliance with the state to maintain Global GAP number in great standing. All records are kept both within the Monday software and as a hard copy in accordance with the state requirements. I assist with shipping, weighing, and completing BOLs for bulk loads of all sizes of orders. Ensure all employees are staying within the required standards and SOPs that are provided by the government and our Global GAP requirements. Report any injuries and maintain records per incident. Assist with the farm's yearly crop records and yields that each year brings, and maintain records of all potatoes sold, shipped to warehouses, bulk loads, and all culls that are processed.
As a Provider Operations Specialist, I accurately entered data in to our system while using my ability to verify all data was clean and up to date. I worked in credentialing and auditing providers that are in contract or are working to become contracted with Friday Health Plans. My main responsibility was to credential and re-credential all individual healthcare providers. In addition I also assist with organizing and updating provider information that goes to our Credentialing Committee and Physician Advisory Committee and working hand in hand with Medical Directors. With that I make the agenda, take notes and update a log sheet that everyone in my workflow as well as the medical departments workflow can understand. Another major project I managed is the Provider Monitoring, I implemented a system to monitor all providers in the active states and reported them to the Medical Directors. I am also responsible for sending letters to the providers that require extra information with time restrictions. In addition to all the credentialing workflow, I answer incoming phone calls from providers or other departments, assist with the provider portal, managed and kept up with the providers inbox, assisted in other workflows such as provider adds, terms, and changes, and the Integration team. With these duties I need to have overall knowledge of the whole department and communicate effectively with other departments as well as the rest of my team for the best execution of any projects from start to finish.
As the Assistant Coach of the High School Girls Basketball team, I would assist the head coach with coordinating with parents, student athletes and the school district. My main duties were to train and prepare athletes for competitions and tournaments by implementing regimens of practice and physical conditioning. I would assist in evaluating individual skills, strength and knowledge and assign them to team positions to maximize talent areas. In addition to on the court duties, I would motivate student athletes to become stronger, more agile and more effective through training habits and nutrition, and mentor student athletes with their classroom assignments. With all of these duties, the main role I have is to be a positive role model for team participation and with in the community.
As a Payer Enrollment Specialist, I would work closely with providers and medical offices. My duties were to enroll medical providers from various medical groups to all medical insurances. I would verify provider license, DEA's, and ensure all board certifications were up to date. This was a remote position, and I was able to manage my heavy load of tasks that needed to be completed in a timely manner. I was able to answer phone calls, emails, and complete all work on time and by deadlines. Communication was a top priority, and I was able to keep track of all communication logs and emails for all providers. As the accounts closed, I was able to hand off all information for a successful closeout of providers.
