I have worked in the hospitality industry for nineteen years. I am an outgoing person who excels at accommodating guests’ needs and providing hospitable service. I am a cheerful, passionate, industrious worker, and am highly reliable and punctual; these traits, along with my strong organizational skills, allow me to adapt quickly to a new work environment. I am a diligent and amiable person who takes pride in succeeding at whatever task I attempt.
I am required to know all ingredients in our dishes, and specialty cocktails. As a server we must also work large parties and banquets upon request. I am one of the few servers that also serves the Sip with a Sommelier dinners. I am responsible for calling shuttles for guests to get back to their rooms at the end of their dinner service.
I am required to attend weekly wine meetings, that include guest speakers such as Kongsgaard, Cristal, Pisoni, Shared Notes, etc. Working in a world renowned destination requires me to be knowledgeable in Nepenthe's historical background. I maintain knowledge of current menu items, garnishes, ingredients and preparation methods.
