Additional Information

I have been trained, and successfully implemented many different curriculums over the past 18 years, while teaching in room 6 at Phillips. Some of my trainings include: Success For All reading roots and wings, Benchmark Education, Discovery Education, Imagine Learning, Dream Box, Seesaw, Renaissance, Star Phonics, Bridges in Mathematics, Second Step, and Rainbow. I have taught 1st grade for 13 years. I have taught a kinder/1st and 1st/2nd grade combination class. Furthermore, I am always willing to teach combination classes. I Zoomed with A.M. 1st and P.M. 2nd. I taught A.M. in-person, and P.M. Zoom in room 6. I am currently teaching 2nd grade. Before Phillips, in 2003, I earned a Certificate of National Service from AmeriCorps. And, way back in May of 2000 I earned an Associate Degree in Child Family Studies. While putting myself through college I worked at different daycare's part time and with Child Start incorporated. Because of this background I enjoy working with younger students. Lastly, in the past 18 years I've never missed a day of work. Except for the mandatory times of course. Thank you for your time and hopeful consideration.
