  • Perform administrative, clerical and general office duties as they relate to the management of the Office of the Dean of Jefferson College of Rehabilitation Sciences/ Chair, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. Interact with members of the Departments, College, and University at the administrative, clinical, educational and research levels. Manage the administrative support team, covering Center City and East Falls campuses including but not limited to performance, talent acquisition, and disciplinary action. Ability to prioritize, assign, and accomplish multiple assignments for self and staff in a timely manner.
  • CORE FUNCTIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
  • Coordinate Dean/Chairman's daily administrative activities with his clinical activities and maintain calendar, allowing flexibility to accommodate demands on a daily basis
  • Screen appointment requests and telephone communications and set priority. Arrange ad-hoc meetings at Dean/Chairman’s request.
  • Follow-up to ensure receipt of proper documentation and submit appointment/promotion packets as needed.
  • Compose routine letters and memos at Dean/Chairman’s request.
  • Compile, compose and/or edit material for Annual Reports and ensure completion for submission.
