  • Perform complex financial calculations to determine child support arrears using State Disbursement Unit, court, and other state records as well as Affidavit of Direct Support Payments obtained from Custodial Parent using standard illinois forms.
  • Provide both custodial parents and non-custodial parents with case specific petitions and documents necessary for multiple different types of Legal Action Referrals.
  • Initiate and generate Legal Action Referrals to attorneys for court action to include, but not limited to Petition to Determine Direct Child Support Payments, Rule to Show Cause, and Registration of Foreign Orders.
  • Perform extensive locate measures to locate both non-custodial parents and custodial parents needed for case initiation and enforcement.
  • Enter, modify, and review initial Illinois, Foreign State Judicial and Administrative Child Support orders into Key Information Delivery System (KIDS).
  • Review interstate requests received by UIFSA transmittals, CSENET message, phone calls and email to determine action needed.
  • Receive and enter both Child Support Applications and Questionnaires in KIDS.
  • Communicate directly with both custodial and non-custodial parents regarding the processing, status, and enforcement of their Child Support case via phone, mail, email, or in person.
  • Record all actions taken on case in KIDS case notes
  • Interpret Child Support policies, rules, and procedures for accurate case management
  • Utilize services such as QUICK/FPLS, IBIS, IES, SDU, and SDX entitlements to maintain up to date and accurate case information needed for case enforcement.
  • Upload all necessary documents and case information into our automated filing system (DOCRS) for accurate documentation purposes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
