Team work makes the dream work. I like to work with my hands and move frequently. I enjoy being busy and learning new things. I am looking for a job that requires physical activity and allows room for growth.
I started working at an animal hospital part time when I was a senior in high school though an internship program. After graduation, I continued to work at the clinic part time while doing online classes through Alamo community Colleges.
In September 2024, my employment status changed to full time, ending April 2026. During my full time position, my knowledge and experience had expanded to the following duties;
Working at the bakery was my first job, I was 14 and loved baking. I saw a cupcake sign while my father and I were going home and I insisted he take me in. I asked if they needed help and the rest was history.
I did part time after school and on weekends. A typical day would include one other employee and myself. I was considered the lead baker when I was scheduled, while my coworker was my partner and helped me where it was needed. After approximately a year of working here, my employers' added cleaning an attached bed and breakfast to my schedule while I ran the bakery as well. The last year of employment here I was a senior in high school, interning at the local veterinary clinic, running the bakery, cleaning the bed and breakfast, filling and completing DoorDash orders, along with assisting catering events when I was requested. Once I graduated high school I decided to pursue veterinary medicine full time.
