I am a new college student with strong drive and efficient work ethic. I'm currently seeking a job in the veterinary felid as an assistant or receptionist though I am happy to take on any opportunity I am provided with. I pride myself on my dedication and time management skills to show my employers that I can finish any task I set my mind too with great quality and confidence.
My responsibilities include mucking out horse stalls and goats play area. I ensure that when the ranch owner is away the water bucks are always cleaned and full. I put feed bags of hay out each morning and afternoon for all the animals. Part of my responsibility is looking out for any sickness or injury that may happen or occur while the ranch owner is gone and notify them immediately. I prioritize the health of the animals and provide the best quality care possible as I accommodate their specific needs. The horses are exercised regularly and the goats are allowed to play in the pastures throughout the day.
I dedicate a lot of my time to managing and maintaining happy and healthy conditions on the ranch at all times for visitors, other volunteers, riders, veterinarians, and a variety of animals on the ranch, most importantly the horses. My responsibilities include making sure all water buckets are filled, stalls are clean, horses have access to hay and feed, gates are closed and locked, tack and saddles are organized and accessible, as well as paying close attention to horses that are in need of timely medication or are being rehabilitated for a second chance. I follow the feeding schedules of horses with specific needs or special diets and help the ranch owner by assisting and instructing riding lessons to the general public who would like to get more involved
