Why Do I Want to be Your Next Health Equity Chair?

  • I chose this position because I would like to continue to be an advocate for health disparities in the African-American community and promote an environment on campus where everyone has the opportunity, resources, and tools to achieve their full physical and mental health potential, using my platform as a member of NCNW. To me, health equity means promoting effective care for all groups and ensuring individuals' full participation in taking action for their health and well-being.
