Activities Attendant
For activities, our shifts include running the snow cone bus, paddle boats, crafts, and kids night out. Snow cone bus is in the middle of the resort where anyone could get one. That is the shift where you get a lot of people and even some rushes of people sometimes. I have worked that shift about 15-20 times. Paddle boats is popular as well. You help the guests onto the boat and off the boat while you also help pickleball people get their equipment. Crafts is where you set up near the pool. We put our ceramics, we do glitter tattoos, and we make stuffed animals for the little ones. Some days we will have another craft after our regular crafts. On Tuesday's and Saturday's we have tie dye shirts where we fold and dye them! Then other days we make Sand Creations. I also have some experience with baby sitting kids. Kids night out is where we have two attendant's becomes camp counselors for the night. We can have up to 10 kids per night. First we have dinner, then we take them to the shows, on Friday's we have a science show. After we usually will go to make s'mores, play mini golf, and maybe some karaoke. At 10pm we will have their parents pick them up, and then the camp counselors will pack up for the night.
