A meticulous team player and a proven track record of exceptional collaborative skills and rapid adaptability due to past experiences of competing on teams for the country Barbados and schools. My dedication and work ethic are matched by an earnest eagerness to gain professional development in the field of physical therapy, especially in the sports realm.
I commenced my athletic journey at the age of six, where I immersed myself in competitive swimming, at eleven I transitioned to track and field. My leadership qualities shone as I captained my high school team to championship victories. These experiences culminated in a full scholarship for college, where I further honed my leadership as the captain of the cross-country team.
My dynamic drive in teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills were further developed through a clinical rotation internship at Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, coupled with volunteer work at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital and Warrens Physiotherapy (an outpatient clinic in Barbados).
