My objective is to obtain a challenging position in a clinical environment where I can utilize my competence, experience, and knowledge, and further my education. With five plus years in the Human Service field, I desire rewarding work helping youth/adults in behavior modification occupations and decreasing maladaptive behaviors.
I would like to distribute my occurrences to create a long contribution towards the company. I am goal-oriented, punctual, and thrive in high pace environments. I am often described as a reliable person and a very active member of my community. I have a true passion for helping others in any way I can. I enjoy working environments where I can serve others and by helping them meet their goals.
Some of my career and educational goals are to obtain my bachelor's in human services and then my master's degree in social work and childhood education. My long-term career goal is to work as an Educational Psychologist and a children's therapist to fuse my passion for children and behavioral health. I have a huge passion for children, as well as children and adults with IDD, and servicing underrepresented populations (like those who are or formerly incarcerated) as well. I also enjoy working with families who are in need of assistance with finding affordable housing, food, and additional resources.
Some of my prior work experience reflects my capability to assist a wide range of individuals, so my ability to build rapport with persons of all walks of life I feel are one of my strengths.
