Experienced in team management and leadership across multiple projects.
Led a team of 15 in IMER bonding during Block 1 and coordinated with management to ensure quality production.
Over the course of Block 1 for our Bluebird satellites 1-5 I worked in mixing for all of production.
I also moved to Solar Panel Close Out during the first phase of Block 1 and was one of the first technicians to learn and train on-coming employees.
After Solar Panels Closeout I was selected to move into Wingspan Assembly where I worked closely with engineers and management to assemble our first wing stacks for Block 1. Gained strong understanding on reading blueprints and redlines
I was then selected to work in SSR (Space Shuttle Restraint) I was apart of the only 2 teams to successfully complete our close out of BlueBird 1-5 Working in this department I gained in depth knowledge on functionality of the satellite and deployment systems.
After Block 1 was sent to Cape Canaveral I was moved to Mechanisms where I worked directly under engineers to develop and test deployment procedures for FM1 worked on LRMs (Lateral Restraint Mechanisms) Firing Harnesses, PLM Fixture, HDRMS, Wingspan + Stack deployment. Gained knowledge of CAD programs like Inventor and fusion 360, designed tools that aided success in mechanisms.
Currently I am assigned as acting Lead and employed through aerotek aviation at Site 1 since June 11th over solar bonding, 3rd shift. Since then I have ensured consistent productivity over the course of my employment and am looking to grow my career given my prior knowledge.
