The Paleta Bar and Spring Rollin' are two separate businesses. The Paleta Bar specializes in gourmet Mexican ice cream pops while Spring Rollin' specializes in gourmet Vietnamese cuisine. Frequently moving to either side to help when needed, responsibilities include:

The Paleta Bar

• Follow recipes to make products including Paletas, Agua Frescas, and chocolate dips.
• Prepare and serve products such as Dipped Paletas, Elote in a cup, and Paleta Mangonadas
• Cut and prepare fruit and toppings

Spring Rollin'

• Cut and prepare meats such as chicken, steak, and shrimp
• Prepare orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Work certain tools such as meat slicers, large mixers, and large shredders

Both sides also include maintaining cleanliness, working the register, answering calls, and providing not only a service but an experience for the customer.

• Taking and fulfilling orders in accordance to Josh & John's standards
• Guiding and providing feedback to colleagues to help maintain a fun and efficient work place
• Answering the phone in a professional manner and taking any information needed for my higher-ups
• Opening and closing the store in a timely fashion in accordance to Josh & John's standards
• Resolving any issues or conflicts with customers or within the workplace while providing an adequate resolution

All work experience here was done as volunteer work. Volunteer work includes assistance of instruction and training for students 4 times per week for 4-5 hours on average before participating in my own class.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the instruction of classes for students aged; 4-6, 7-12, and 13+ including adults
• Instructing classes in an informative manner using appropriate vocabulary and teaching methods based on age group
• Leading class instructions when Head Instructor in unavailable to do so
• Spotting and correcting any mistakes in an uplifting and informative manner without being condescending in accordance to National Karate standards
• Testing and promoting students ages 4-6 according to National Karate standards
