• Job Description: We are seeking construction cable technicians to join our team at data centers located around the Des Moines area
• As a Cable Technician, you will work with blueprints and use hand and power tools to assemble and mount trays, server racks, and pull fiber optic cables
• Assemble and mount trays and server racks using blueprints
• Pull fiber optic cable from point A to point B
• Scan inventory and unpack boxes of materials
• Break down shipping materials and build server racks
• Install servers and switches, and run cable
• The job requires adherence to safety protocols and the wearing of PPE, including steel-toed boots, hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves

• Follow all plant safety rules
• Operate machinery to produce plastic film that meets or exceeds customer specifications
• Perform and document quality assurance testing
• Record production and materials data on a computer and necessary paperwork
• Troubleshoot production problems as required and communicate to shift leadership
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures
• Ensure finished goods are packaged to meet customer requirements
• Ensure proper housekeeping in the work area

• Assembling parts: Putting processed parts together into finished lighting products

• Quality review: Checking parts and finished products for quality and removing any that are defective

• Maintaining work area: keeping the work area clean and free of dust, and emptying the scrap basket

regularly

• Assisting with machines: Helping with machine part changes as needed
