  • Maintained a Secret security rated Network infrastructure of 11 Server cabinets with specialized functionality, hosting over 30 virtual machines with a variety of functions ranging from Maintenance Tasking, Data collection, Data backups, Monitoring software, Security programs, Parts request and requisition, and personnel organization. Providing uninterrupted service to over 550 USS Nimitz Reactor Department Sailors to ensure smooth continuation of maintenance and watchstanding.
  • Main Tech tasked to install and oversee the introduction of new training programs added to the network in collaboration with software developer and perform training on said system to allow easier tracking of personnel qualifications, maintenance, and out of rate training.
  • Familiar with Network security protocols and rules on a Secret Classified Network.
  • Re-imaged and repaired over 30 Watchstander Tablets during 2022 Deployment Workup Cycles to ensure adequate data collection by watchstanders on reactor systems.

Valve Repair Mechanic

  • Served as Lead Maintenance Technician for the CEMAT Self Help Barge Valve Team.
  • Led and trained a small team of 4 personnel, 2 of whom were non-mechanic rates, in the proper Maintenance, Quality assurance, and other technical skills required and expected of USN maintenance men.
  • Successfully coordinated the removal, repair, testing and re-installation of over 300 safety relief valves in less than 6 months involving over 10 different Work Centers and Shops, creating a new record for the CEMAT Self Help Barge Valve Team.
  • Performed the duties and responsibilities of a Leading Petty Officer (E-6) whilst E-4 for 3 months while current LPO had emergency leave to include attending CO (O-6) ship work status briefings, personnel management, and Nimitz shipyard liaison for the Valve Team.
  • Tested and repaired High priority Relief valves to include Critical Reactor Plant Safety Relief Valves under time crunch allowing the Nimitz Reactor Department to begin testing ahead of schedule for the 2022 Deployment Workup Cycle.
  • Tested High Pressure Air valves for Air Compressors with setpoints up to 6000 psi.
