Additional Information

In 2022, I helped lead a fundraiser to pay for the funeral of one of my family's friends. Unfortunately, their family would have struggled to pay for the funeral service and headstone without financial support. Upon learning this, I brought an idea of a fundraiser called a Boot Drive to my youth pastor, who helped me to organize the event and raise over $950 for the family. Although this did not cover the entire cost of the service, I was very grateful for the opportunity to repay my community that has helped me through hardships of my own.
