  • Accompanied Wake Co EMS supervisors during daily morning shift, to provide targeted outreach for individuals who recently received medically assisted reversal.
  • Conducted 5+ hours of daily outreach targeting transient population (woods, tent camps, etc) accompanied by dedicated Wake Co nurse & SA counselor to offer resource sharing, access to medical care, and wellness check-ins.
  • Coordinated leadership workshops to educate team members on best practices to optimize productivity.
  • Communicated clearly and openly with dispatch to receive new orders and convey important updates about scenes.

SVA is a justice-centered grassroots intermediary, established to anchor aligned Southern leaders and projects through non-profit compliance. In addition to being promoted 6 times, ultimately as a member of the executive leadership team, some highlights from the work I offered include:

  • Developing and managing Fiscal Sponsorship Program, wherein I nurtured relationships with over 25 projects, 15 of which were on-boarded during onset of COVID-19.
  • Facilitating 1-on-1 meetings with project leads & board members quarterly, to assess progress, collaborate on fundraising/development plans, and forecast aligned strategies & programming that would highlight their vision/mission.
  • Streamlining operation infrastructure to support expansive collaboration and promote increased performance. Including: creating Standardized Operating Procedures, developing visual marketing materials, such as official program manual & information guides. Developing Memorandum of Understanding and executing all onboarding processes (vetting, negotiation interviews, contracts, toolkits, orientation, wellness check-ins), in addition to working alongside Co-Executive Director & Communications team, to develop, design, and implement an Intranet platform that digitized and streamlined processes for Anchoring {customer service} Department, and centralized organization-wide communication.
  • Attending 25+ trainings, conferences, learning exchanges & workshops to advance professional knowledge of fiscal sponsorship, while also participating (as sole representative of the US South), in an unprecedented Ford Foundation nationwide cohort of fiscal sponsoring organizations, assembled to learn, support, and educate.
  • Extensively traveling, internationally, nationally, and state-wide, in support of fulfilling organizational needs, sponsored project growth, and collective solidarity with aligned movement abroad.

  • Designed layout, developed curriculum, recruited Mpowerment ambassadors, & managed Center's daily operations, including programming, outreach of participants, budgeting/resource coordination, and reporting/evaluation.
  • Implemented components of Effective Intervention protocol as outlined by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention grant guidelines, including PEMS data management, updated trainings/certifications, and technical support. Addressed and resolved technical, financial and operational concerns by working with team members and directors.
  • Facilitated Supervision of 15+, including professional staff, administrative support, and student fellows.
  • Promptly and thoroughly delivered quarterly reports to organization directors and board members, outlining productivity, fiduciary activity, areas of needed support, and special highlights.
