- Work directly with a resident to ensure their basic needs are met this includes interacting with them, assisting with dressing, and helping them maintain personal hygiene
- Help with basic housekeeping including, doing laundry, putting away items into closets washing wheelchairs, making beds, cleaning
- Help out kitchen staff by passing out food and drinks during breakfast lunch and dinner time or if they want a snack
- Before doing so you have to properly check a card that provides information on what they can have during this time, or if adjustments need to be made.

- Make sure buses are maintained and cleaned correctly in order to send to a location where the bus is needed, this includes caulking the edges/seams of specific areas and wiping away excess dirt and grime that was present before doing so, hosing/washing the exterior of the bus, cleaning windows and doors, wiping down seats, etc
- Make sure seats are properly secure and do not budge when pushed on, make sure screws/bolts are tightened on said seats and straighten and fix seat belts
- Closing and opening the windows and making sure they are functioning
- Lettering the buses (putting the school names on).
