• Engaged in two immersive clinical rotations integral to the nursing school curriculum, where I delved into foundational skills in the initial semester and seamlessly transitioned to mastering advanced medical-surgical competencies in the subsequent semester.

Skills learned- Foundations

• Facilitating Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), ensuring safe mobility practices to prevent falls, and offering meal assistance. I performed vital sign assessments, provided invaluable support to nurses and patient care technicians during procedures, meticulously documented patient care activities, effectively communicated with patients and their families.

Skills learned- Med-surg

• I had the privilege to engage in a myriad of nursing activities, including conducting comprehensive bedside head-to-toe assessments, proficiently administering medications, skillfully managing intravenous infusions, attentively observing patients, actively participated in patient positioning to enhance comfort and prevent pressure ulcers, worked on patient care plans for one patient each clinical day creating nanda's and interventions based on evidence based practice.
