Job Description:

Performed critical calibration and maintenance on a wide range of measurement devices used in various industries, including manufacturing and healthcare, ensuring precision and compliance with industry standards. Key responsibilities included:

• Inspection & Testing: Conducted detailed inspections of equipment for defects and irregularities. Tested measurement devices to verify their accuracy against established standards.
• Calibration & Adjustment: Adjusted instruments as needed to ensure precise readings, followed by thorough testing to confirm successful calibration.

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic systems on military aircraft, including the F/A-18. This role encompasses a broad range of technical skills, including:

• Systems Installation & Maintenance: Build, install, and maintain advanced electronic systems on aircraft, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
• Equipment Inspection & Repair: Conduct thorough inspections, repairs, and operational checks using tools such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, and frequency counters.
• Instrumentation Systems Expertise: Utilize the Common Airborne Instrumentation System (CAIS), signal conditioners, and recorders to diagnose and optimize system performance.
• Software Proficiency: Skilled in TTC, DTS, and OMEGA software for managing instrumented aircraft systems.
• Compliance & Safety Protocols: Adhere to Navy Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) standards, including Tool Control, Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) handling, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention, Quality Assurance, and safety inspections.
• Fabrication & Wiring: Fabricate wire harnesses using wiring schematics and AutoCAD drawings, with expertise in building a wide range of cables including twisted pairs, shielded/non-shielded pairs, coaxial, twin axial, tri-axial, and Ethernet.
• Quality Assurance & Safety: Ensure compliance with strict safety and quality protocols, contributing to mission-critical readiness and operational efficiency.

uccessfully completed a four-year military contract, including one overseas deployment, with an honorable discharge. Developed extensive hands-on experience and technical expertise in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of advanced avionics systems on Navy aircraft, including the F/A-18, H-60, E-2C, and EA-18G. Key responsibilities and skills include:

• Avionics Systems Maintenance: Utilized the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) to remove, replace, repair, load, install, and troubleshoot a wide range of avionics components, including navigation, radar, communication, countermeasure systems, carrier approach landing systems, COMSEC, displays, flight recording, GPS, IFF, infrared, video, audio, and weapon systems.
• Technical Proficiency: Gained proficiency in maintaining complex electronic sub-assemblies, ensuring all components are Ready for Issue (RFI) and free of Foreign Object Damage (FOD).
• Compliance & Safety Standards: Consistently adhered to the Navy Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), implementing best practices in Tool Control, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) handling, Foreign Object Damage prevention, Quality Assurance, and rigorous safety inspections.
