  • Assists in administering Department of Energy (DOE) funds and housing opportunities for persons with Weatherization, including reviewing applications and other data to check grant proposals for compliance with Federal regulations, ADECA policies, and program guidelines.
  • Oversees grants as needed by conducting desk checks and visiting subrecipients in person to verify compliance with relevant State and Federal rules. This is done by looking through in-site records, watching program activities, and speaking with program administrators with no major post-monitoring errors or discrepancies after at least one monitoring of each allocated project.
  • Verifies agencies adherence to federal standards and program guidelines by processing documents such as grant closeout, budget adjustments, program amendments, and invoices for payment. Payment requests are normally handled in one to five days. Two days are allotted for budget adjustments and modifications. and close-outs within thirty days, in compliance with ADECA regulations, without any justifiable delays or mistakes.
  • Carries out other duties as delegated, such as writing reports, conducting research online, sharing information, answering general questions regarding the program, etc., in compliance with directives and relevant laws and regulations.
