I am applying for this job because I want to be an RT who makes an impact on people's lives for the better. Helping people in their vulnerable moments, and having someone they can trust, is my goal.

Dear Hiring Manager,
Today I am applying for the morning Respiratory Therapist position open at your facility. I am currently a new grad from Washington State College of Ohio to complete an associate degree in applied science in respiratory therapy. I did my clinicals at this facility, I really enjoyed how this department was run and overall, my time here.
Due to my 500+ clinical hours I was able to experience a lot of different areas including ICU, ER, OR, general care, peds, and neonates. So far, trach care is one of my favorite things to utilize my skills for. I do have previous hospital experience as a patient transporter. During that time, I would have patient connections, advocate for the patient's needs, team player, and independent learner. I am a very quick thinker that would love to work in a more trauma setting where it is fast paced. Your mission statement “Care & Compassion for every life we touch. Respect & Appreciation for each other. Teamwork & Enjoyment in working together. Focus & Discipline on improving the quality of care.” I share the same aspects of care, compassion, teamwork, and focus. I hope to contribute to those values as part of the team. I have included my resume for review and appreciate the opportunity to be considered for the position. I look forward to talking to you soon.
Sincerely
Jaelyn Ludwig
