• Conducting risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential hazards associated with working on foul sewer and surface ground water networks and implementing appropriate control measures to mitigate these risks
• Providing training for site personnel so they have the skills and knowledge to carry out their work safely and in compliance with regulations
• Implementing and maintaining a permit to work system to ensure that only carry out work that has been approved and is safe to proceed
• Conducting regular inspections and checks of equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good condition and safe to use
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all site-related activities, including permits, risk assessments, incident reports, and training records
• Conducting safety briefings and toolbox talks with workers to reinforce safety procedures and environmental protection practices on the worksite
• Developing and implementing traffic diversion plans to minimize disruptions to the normal flow of traffic while ensuring safe and efficient road construction
• Conducting regular road safety audits to ensure that the work processes are safe, that there is appropriate signage and signals, and that the site is free from clutter
• Developing and implementing emergency response procedures to ensure that workers and the public are safe in the event of an accident or incident
• Conducting road safety audits of diversion routes, ensuring that controls and measures are in place and making changes if necessary
• Conducting regular site inspections to ensure that traffic management plans are being adhered to and that proper safety procedures are in place
• Conducted regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential hazards, initiating prompt corrective action when necessary.

• Monitor use of Risk Assessments and Job Hazard Analyses to ensure proper identification of risks and implementation of mitigating actions
• Ensure that housekeeping is done on a regular basis
• Carry out checks of equipment to ensure they are in a safe operating condition
• Identifies applicable safety standards according to Qatar Labor Law and company HSE procedures
• Issues warning citations to those not complying with safety policies and regulations and impose penalty/fines to those doing unnecessary/unsafe act redundantly which creates the potential to near miss conditions
• Report and investigate all near misses, incidents, accidents and identify the root cause and take necessary steps to eliminate danger and recurrence
• Manage/ control the permit to work application, familiar and capable of reviewing all contractors PTW applications, method statement, task risk assessment, manage JSA and PTW application database
• Control of hazardous material (COSHH) and its safe storage based on the internal procedure and arranging training through MSDS
• Develops topics of safety talks, toolbox talks, site HSE Procedure, HSE bulletin and notices
• Ensuring the hygienic condition of the canteen, toilets, drinking water and whole site
• Providing Safety orientation for new employees and visitors
• Maintaining awareness of the business context and company profitability
