Scope : Catchment Zone Framework Qatar South
- Conducting risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential hazards associated with working on foul sewer and surface ground water networks and implementing appropriate control measures to mitigate these risks
- Providing training for site personnel so they have the skills and knowledge to carry out their work safely and in compliance with regulations
- Implementing and maintaining a permit to work system to ensure that only carry out work that has been approved and is safe to proceed
- Conducting regular inspections and checks of equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good condition and safe to use
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all site-related activities, including permits, risk assessments, incident reports, and training records
- Conducting safety briefings and toolbox talks with workers to reinforce safety procedures and environmental protection practices on the worksite
- Developing and implementing traffic diversion plans to minimize disruptions to the normal flow of traffic while ensuring safe and efficient road construction
- Conducting regular road safety audits to ensure that the work processes are safe, that there is appropriate signage and signals, and that the site is free from clutter
- Developing and implementing emergency response procedures to ensure that workers and the public are safe in the event of an accident or incident
- Conducting road safety audits of diversion routes, ensuring that controls and measures are in place and making changes if necessary
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure that traffic management plans are being adhered to and that proper safety procedures are in place
- Conducted regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential hazards, initiating prompt corrective action when necessary.
