In the era of digitization and technological advancement, preserving personal privacy is of utmost importance, given the extensive amount of personal information shared online. This project addresses the pressing need to proactively identify and assess the exposure of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) within publicly accessible online sources. Leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, the system scans various online platforms, including websites, social media, and forums, to detect instances of PII like names, email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses. It goes beyond mere identification by assessing the risk associated with PII exposure, considering factors such as context and potential consequences. By empowering users with insights into their online privacy, this project aims to enhance digital security and enable individuals to safeguard their personal information effectively, mitigating concerns related to data breaches and identity theft in today's data-driven society.
