-Working Valet at the W Hotel provided me with a lot of insight on the hospitality industry. It wasn't my first valet experience, but my first valet experience at a hotel. A very well-known successful establishment. It was My first time working with a team of 5+ Valets sometimes 10 in one shift. Met and worked with a lot of great people. Serviced and helped a lot of wonderful people and their families from around the world.

• Always thinking of ways to surprise each guest by anticipating their needs and delivering Grade A service
• Proactively greet and assist each guest with a warm smile and friendly welcome
• Met and exceeded all of the service standards outlined by the company and Hotel (Uniform, Hygiene, etc.)
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles, and assist guests with loading/unloading luggage and personal items from vehicles to help assist Hotel Bellman if need be
• Safely managed guest's keys/fobs/ and personal belongings inside vehicle
• Very efficient in handling all parking fee transactions and making sure every vehicle has a ticket and revenue is accounted for
• Responsible for maintaining control of all guest car keys and claims tickets, dispatching Valet Parker to retrieve cars, and posting and recording payments for parking services with POS application as an overnight/graveyard valet
• Run quickly and keep a timely pace when retrieving cars in a fast-paced environment or situation
• Keeping great communication with other valets to make sure the flow of cars in and or out, are in a timely, safely matter
• Helping other Valets move doubled park cars as well as entering and exiting tight spaces
• Held a warm presence with other employees of the building (Front desk, Housekeeping, Security, etc.)
• Understanding business is a team sport and everyone is just important as the next no matter their position.

Being employed as a Valet and Bellman, working 2 service positions at once, was a challenging wonderful experience. With the Hotel being less than 10 minutes away from the airport, I was able to help and service so many different walks of life. So many families and learning about various cultures was amazing.

• Greeted guests upon arrival, providing a warm and welcoming first impression
• Safely and efficiently parked employees cars and documented their vehicle information
• Assisted guests with luggage, ensuring prompt, fast and efficient service
• Successfully handling all parking fee transactions and ensuring all revenue and every vehicle is accounted for at the end of shift
• Opened doors for each Hotel Guest
• Offered information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
• Collaborated with the front desk to coordinate check-ins and check-outs
• Managed guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
• Always ensured a neat and organized parking/lobby area, enhancing the overall guest experience
• Demonstrated excellent knowledge of local dining, entertainment, and transportation options
• Communicated with housekeeping to ensure timely delivery of guests' requested items

I really enjoyed working as a valet here at Cross Campus. It was a different experience than my previous jobs working at hotels. This was a shared work space where multiple companies rent offices in a building for their employees to work in which, they offered valet as a prepaid service. Ultimately I enjoyed being a valet in a different industry environment.
