  • Provided ORAN technology hardware/software validation & development in the lab and production environment.
  • Responsible for RAN OEM (Mavenir, Samsung, Fujitsu) Software validation in FOA followed by Nationwide RAN Software Rollout for 24000 5G Cloud-native ORAN sites via CICD automation in record limited timeline.
  • Responsible for technical evaluations of RAN Features and collaborating with RAN OEM partners for Software Defect Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Resolutions & Validation with test cases in the lab & field environment. This initiative with RAN OEM and Cloud Platform Team improved increases network reliability and minimizes service disruptions.
  • Comparative study of RAN OEM Systems and provide recommendations for feature enhancement to leadership team.
  • Worked with Local RF teams across multiple markets and provided training on Mavenir, Samsung, Fujitsu, AWS and VMware platforms. This initiative assisted RF team to be self-sufficient for initial Triage & optimization in their markets.
  • Developed Proof of Concept for RAN OEM Migration with VLAN Switch methodology in collaboration with Networking, Cloud and RAN team to have seamless migration with minimum downtime and customer impact.

  • Worked on 5G ORAN NFs (RU, DU, CUCP/UP) and thorough understanding/troubleshooting of VRAN. Experience in working with Kubernetes and associated CLI tool. Familiar with RU functions and to troubleshoot DU to RU interfaces.
  • Performed Call Trace with field UE testing to identify issues with UE attach/PDU session failure. Analyzed logs with Wireshark and engaged the required team (Core team / vendor) to mitigate the issue.
  • Configuring RUs in Infoblox and verifying CSR to get the site ready for RAN Vendors to onboard Network functions.
