Jaiden Hayman

College Station,TX

Summary

My name is Jaiden “Jade” Hayman, and I am a proud recent graduate of Texas A&M University. I am originally from Madison, Mississippi but moved to Texas my freshman year. I come from a close-knit family of five children, and I have been deeply shaped by the love and guidance of my two wonderful parents—both proud Texas A&M alumni. My older brother passed away in a motorcycle accident in 2021 but remains a lasting influence in my life.

I began my college journey as a kinesiology major but soon realized my true interests lay elsewhere. During my sophomore year at Texas A&M University, I made the decision to switch to psychology—a choice that changed my life forever. Rather than feeling uncertain about life after graduation, I began to feel excited, focused, and ready to put what I have learned into meaningful action. Studying the brain and human behavior sparked a genuine passion within me. A multitude of courses in educational, social, and behavioral psychology helped me develop a deep appreciation for behavioral analysis. Being diagnosed with Dyslexia and Dysgraphia at a young age, I have faced unique circumstances. This led me to be homeschooled till 7th grade. I had difficulty reading and writing, but with my mom's determination and nurturing spirit, I overcame the challenges that I encountered. This being said, learning differences can be seen negatively by those who are not aware of everything they have to offer. In reality, some of the most successful people in the world have learning differences. Being unique is something to be thankful for, as it is the creator of a hard work ethic. Personally, I see my previous struggles as a gift that led me to become who I am today. I have gained determination, gratitude, and confidence in my abilities through my differences. I believe that I now have the chance to encourage, motivate and inspire other children to become the best version of themselves despite the mountains that must be crossed.

Throughout my academic years, I have balanced my studies with hands-on experience working with children. I babysit regularly, nannied over two summers, and spent two years serving in the children’s ministry (ages 0–5) at Grace Creekside Church in College Station. My background also includes volunteer work with special education programs in high school and a mentor for skill creek ranch in college. I have experience with individuals of diverse ages, needs, and abilities. Throughout my education and experiences, I have learned the lasting importance of honesty, integrity, and respect. I believe that every person has the ability to make a positive impact, and I am ready to bring my strong work ethic, compassionate spirit, and unwavering enthusiasm to ABC Therapy.

Action Behavior Centers stands out to me as an organization rooted in compassion and purpose, values that I hold close to me. I am eager to grow within a team that is committed to making a difference in the lives of children and families. I would love to complete my Registered Behavior Technician training to contribute to the meaningful work that you all do.

Thank you for considering my application. I would love the opportunity to be a part of Action Behavior Centers to grow both personally and professionally through the role.
